In addition to her numerous activities promoting women’s baseball for her nonprofit “Baseball for All,” Justine Siegal found time last year to coach pro baseball last year in Japan and Mexico — where coached in a game.
Here’s a story from a recent interview with her published by Kyodo News, where she talks about her experience in Japan with the Fukushima Red Hopes of the independent Route Inn Baseball Challenge League.
Siegal said she would be up for another try in Japan, although not for a season, so a spring training coaching gig may be in the cards for 2021.
