One man’s wartime youth in occupied Manchuria Part 1
This is the first part of the story of Susumu Noda, who grew up in the Manchurian port city of Dalian during World War 2 when it was ruled by Imperial Japan. Mr. Noda told me about his experiences during and after the war and the tragedies he witnessed as the colonial masters became refugees.
